Larry Summers Is OpenAI’s Surprise Pick to Mend Fences

As Sam Altman hopes to control OpenAI following the strife of his ouster and return as CEO, he will be working with an underlying directorate comprising of two new faces — and one remnant from the past board that terminated him.
The two joiners are prepared tech veteran Bret Taylor, who was previously co-Chief of Salesforce and executive of Twitter, and Larry Summers, the onetime Depository secretary and Harvard College president whose arrangement astonished a few eyewitnesses. Staying on the board is Adam D'Angelo, a previous Facebook chief and the organizer behind the responsive site Quora, a potential sign that Altman might not have all that his own particular manner after his emotional restoration late Tuesday.
